'01 Toyota Celica

The Toyota Celica is a sports car produced by Toyota from 1970 to 2006. The seventh generation, styled by Alan Schneider, Yasuhiko Mizuhata and Hiroyuki Metsugi and internally codenamed the T230, was sold from 1999 to 2006 and acted as the car's final generation. The car was previewed by the XYR concept and was an element of Project Genesis, a plan by Toyota USA for younger buyers to buy their products which ultimately failed. The T230 Celica was powered by a 1.8L 1ZZ-FE or 2ZZ-GE inline-4 and was designed to be cost-effective to produce. The final Celica was produced on 21 April 2006.
