1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III is the third generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the sports sedan and rally-tuned version of the Mitsubishi Lancer. The Evo III, as it is colloquially known, was designed by Akinori Nakanishi, Masaru Furukawa and Yasukichi Akamatsu and produced from 1995 to 1996. It featured more aggressive styling, added aerodynamic elements and other changes to improve airflow to the engine and brakes. The car's 2.0L 4G63T turbocharged inline-4 was fitted with a larger turbocharger, allowing the engine to produce 266 horsepower. 10,080 were produced.
