1985 Pontiac J2000

This casting is based on a 1985 Pontiac J2000 Pro Street car built and owned by Rick Dobbertin of Dobbertin Performance, nicknamed Radical. The car was built from July 1983 to May 1986 with over 5,000 man hours spent on the build. It is equipped with a 350 ci (5.0L) Chevrolet "bowtie block" V8 that is both twin-turbocharged and twin-supercharged, mated to a Lenco 4-speed manual. The car has won numerous awards and is notable for winning all four major magazine-sponsored car shows and contests in 1985 and was later made into a Revell model kit in 1986. The car is currently owned by noted Pro Street builders Matt and Debbie Hay, who built an award-winning 1988 Ford Thunderbird Pro Street car.
