Modelo
The Ferrari 250 GTO is a grand touring sports car produced by Ferrari from 1962 to 1964 for homologation into FIA Group 3. Designed by Giotto Bizzarrini and Sergio Scaglietti, the 250 GTO was designed to compete against cars such as the Shelby Cobra and Jaguar E-Type. Development of the car was spearheaded by Bizzarrini but he and numerous other engineers and designers were fired due to disagreements with Enzo Ferrari, with engineer Mauro Forghieri continuing development of the car's body alongside Scaglietti. The car is powered by a 3.0L Tipo 168/62 Colombo V12 mated to a 5-speed manual. A total of 36 chassis were produced (some sources say 39).
